oh how i am terribly happy that my first major deadline has happened. and that the sunshine arrived just in time for me to enjoy it. i had a picnic with dear little laura. and mr hedgehog with our sandwiches and apple and ice creams. ♥
mr hedgehog loves to have picnics. he too loves to drink tea out of a pink teacup and saucer. i should really get him a nice blue set.
my exhibition for my garments and my story books went ever so well. mother and father both visited which was absolutely a special wish come true. mother visited the day before with homecooked food and homemade pink bread with apples and bananas too and love and hugs and stayed for the show the next day.
father visited with beautifully gigantic creamy white roses.
so here is my piece at the 'sew what?! 2009' fashion degree show with my garments and collars and storybooks.

inbetween working away at the sewing machine and sewing on buttons from paris and putting up my shelves. i have been visiting the cattle market and have found the most beautiful teacups and saucers and floral side plates.
i have received such beautiful things within such sweet faery posts from my darling moon best friend, she made me this most beautiful special jar sealed with magic moon dust and a star princess rosie and a little angel lottie. and also a sweet little friend called little miss pinkchick. whom i adore.

and him...
and watching this...
and this...

and listening to her...
and really wishing for these to live on my white shelf...
(images 18-24 from google and imdb)
and have been purchasing these wonderful treasures...
...and spending my bank holiday monday doing this...

and listening to this by lloyd greenaway...
and receiving this lovely lovely award from marvellous maria angela and lovely lavelle and the loveliest name, lola-elise.
i will give this award to the lovely my paper heart, the arty and sweetest secret ginger, and the cutest newcomer drinking in the morning sun-whom you should definitely explore.
*and this absolute cutie from the sweetest little sweetheart the storyteller's diary.
i will give this award to my moon best friend rosie and jess at wild keiki and delicate diaries
and the lemonade award again from the sophisticated and so very sweet sticky kitten, who i will give to the odd bird maker inside the cabinet of wonder.
♥ thank you so much lovelies. i am so very happy and smilie to have received such special awards.
father visited with beautifully gigantic creamy white roses.

ReplyDeleteI love picnics, I was planning on having one last weekend with two dear friends of mine. Your piece at the exhibition looks FABULOUS, seriously stunning. I really like that book too. Zac Efron is attractive. I never used to care much for him, until the most recent high school musical movie came out. I changed my mind after that, and I want to see 17 Again. Who is the artist that you have been listening to? Your necklaces are divine! And I must say, I love your hair colour! :)

ReplyDeleteThere are so many adorable & exciting things to comment on, I can't even wait. First, Mr Hedgehog is soadorable, I can't even believe it! With all that grass and his teacup... Aw so cute!
Your exhibition looked so amazing, the clothes were so fairytale like, like magic meets childhood... I think I shall write a story in my next post about the type of girls who'd wear your collection... Have you named it?
Those teacups and the things Rosie sent you are so fantastic... I adore her work, as well as little miss pinkchick. :)
Zac Efron is adorable, though I hate to admit it, because he's so popular over here, its almost silly.
Pretty in Pink is to die for! Duckie is soooo fantastic, I wish I had a guy friend as cool as him... I also adore Iona, the record store keeper. She reminds me quite alot of my Fairy Godmother...
Your purchases look amazing, & you are such a delight. Sorry for the long long comment, cutie. You're worth it though!
xoxo
