my sunshine beams

hello there. it has been too sunny for here recently. but i like it alot.
i also enjoyed some late night teas and angel cake with ola on wednesday.
oh tilly~rose popped up to say hello aswell. she has missed all your lovely words. she has grown so very much.
today's warm summery weather involved a teeny shopping trip...which perhaps one should not have joined in, as the floral purse was very nearly empty already. now it is extremely and completely empty.
mr hedgehog came to the park with ola and amanda and i afterward. it was so very lovely. mr hedgehog looks like he is getting ever so old, which is a little sad.
my right shoulder is an awful colour of pink now though. the sunshine protector cream didn't really work on that shoulder. it's a little ouchy. maybe next time i should cover my pale freckled dusted shoulders completely. i hope everyone else have enjoyed the sweet summery sunshine and haven't caught ouchy shoulders or noses or anything. ice cream next time oui?

  1. Bare shoulders face upwards -> burning more easily (see also noses and tops of feet) so require even more sunscreen (I'm a pale ginger. I am passionate about getting people to wear more sunscreen!!!).

  9. Oh tilly~rose has grown so much! what a cutie!
It hasn't been very sunny where I am, but at least the wind and the rain smell more of Summer than of Fall, which is what was happening about 2 weeks ago.
I'm glad you are doing so well! I don't think I've said so before, but I LOVE your red hair. It soothes you oh so well.

Penelope and I wish you a very good day. And please protect those shoulder of yours :)

  10. hello my sweet wonder girl! oh these last two posts have been just too pretty. so light and full of joy. i am in love with your gorgeous storybook fashion set-up. especially those two pink frocks (the one on you and the one hanging) with those dainty collars and the details special as mermaids. you deserve to have many many people visit your lovely exhibit and admire it and then to have millions of afternoons in the sun with mr. hedgehog and all sorts of lovely friends. you are too amazing to be true, just all of you and your world of flowered plates and tangled up trinkets and tea. how i wish wish wish to visit every every day!

  11. awww lottie, so sorry about your pink ouchie shoulder! i had a pink ouchie neck from a day of drawing on the sidewalk with my bestest friends... they hurt. try aloe vera?

tilly~rose has grown so much! be sure to let her know that sprinkleton says '7! i love you!' :)

bestest friend chiclet wishes to send her love as well, but unfortunately she has been ever so busy and cannot comment or blog.

also, cutie, i've made many drawings and stories, and i thought maybe we could send each other packages again, only full of handmade collages, stories, drawings, and little books and handmade jewelry, etc.? :D email me if you aren't too busy, drseussfanatic(at)yahoo(dot)com!

    i love you, buddy! xoxo

  26. aww, you poor thing! sunshine cream protector never works for me so i've pretty much given up on using them. the sun is always shining here in malaysia and we asians are always looking forward to rainy days to run away from the scorching heat. :) hehe.

glad you enjoyed yourself anyhow! :)

What tea do you usually drink?
A cute coffee shop near to where I live makes the most incredible strawberry and kiwifruit tea.
