Sunday

it has started to get cooler in my neck of the woods. which i am quietly pleased with. the autumnal breezes and orangey crispy leaves to jump in and thick wooly scarves start to appear and smooth pine cones and spikey conkers and warm sunshine.
the summery days are drawing to an end, and we've had so much fun. it's been filled with working days and family weddings and birthday celebrations and sunburnt noses and freckly shoulders and ice cream cones and barbeque gardens and tweetering birds and moving back home and graduating and goodbyes and hellos and homemade victoria sponge and tea and scrabble and silly adventuresand so many smiles
and beautiful sunsetting evenings alone with soft chords in my ears.
charlotte has been staying at her sister's abode whilst she and her new family celebrate their new marriage on their honeymoon. she has had a lovely time playing grown up. but has been eating far too many biscuits and drunk far too many teas. tilly~rose has been exploring with her too. they've been having a lovely time. although charlotte has had some unfortunes with a bad case of a swollen throat. it hurts lots. but mother has visited and told her to drink more tea and some soup, and she now feels lots better.
she waits patiently for her new purchases which should arrive at the cottage. she'll paint her nails. and she'll go for a lovely walk with the prince.
i adore all my wonderful followers and my perfectly sweethearted blogger friends and all my lovely comments. i do hate very much so that i have busy work days so often. i promise to improve. i do promise... ♥

  5. The way you described the coming of fall made me even more happy it's here. Although I adore summer, there's something special about fall that no other season has. I love all these photos by the way, especially the ones of the sunsets!

  11. It's started to grow colder here, as well! I'm much more excited to see fallen leaves and carved pumpkins than I'd like to admit. So I smile to myself, instead, whenever I come upon a tree changing colors.

I hope you feel better soon, dear!

  12. fall is a great season, i'm excited for it. over here, it's just starting to get really warm, which doesn't make much sense.

working days, family weddings, birthday celebrations, sunburnt noses, freckly shoulders, ice cream cones, barbeque gardens and tweetering birds, goodbyes and hellos, tea, smiles, beautiful sunsetting evenings alone, scrabble and silly adventures are all the definitions of summer.

i love the colour of your nails so much! i hope you have lovely adventures soon! :)

  19. Eh! Best remedy for a sore throat: green tea + a squirt of lemon juice + honey. Green tea boosts the immune system (and is so soothing) she will feel better immediately!

Lovely pictures! It hasn't gotten cold here yet!
