Happy FIRST Birthday Laura Ashley! On Tuesday, I was lucky enough to be invited to their blog's FIRST Birthday party, amongst other fabulous bloggers. It was such a lovely event, and I had such a lovely time.
As soon as I arrived, the beautiful ladies from Vintage Patisserie offered me some Jasmine tea cocktails served in their pretty vintage china teacup and saucers. Lemon scones with Lavender clotted cream and Chocolate and Rose brownies were served up on vintage cake stands. Which were absolutely divine.
The room was beautifully decorated with special Christmassy things. There were decorations for the tree, cosy woollen socks for chilly winter evenings, festive scented candles, heart shaped silver bells. I was truly in my element!
A pretty twinkling wooden tree stood in the centre of the room, which was called the WishTree. The branches were lined with gold wooden pegs which each held a golden envelope. Underneath the tree, there were baskets filled with beautifully wrapped Laura Ashley gifts. We all had a chance to choose an envelope which revealed the gift that we received.
Laura Ashley gave me lots of ideas for Christmas gifts this year. The beautiful photo frames, the little woodland animal lights, the jars of sweets, the glass candle holders, are just a small amount of beauties that caught my attention.
I mostly enjoyed these Amazing Gingerbread house candles. I have a little soft spot for littles like this, and these are definitely in my basket the next time I pop into Laura Ashley. Favourite!
The beautiful Liz Lawrence played some wonderful acoustic tunes for us whilst we sipped on our cocktails. Her voice was just divine, soft and folky. My favourite kind. I most definitely have a new voice going on to my iPod!
I ate scones with some of my favourite bloggers; The ever so beautiful Olivia, the lovely and colourful miss Lucy, the super talented Ella, one half of the wonderful Festival Brides, the sweet and creative Emma, the wonderful, sister-from-another-mister Alix, and the lovely Kate and Emma who brought all this together. It was just so lovely.
♥Thank you so much Laura Ashley for inviting me to your wonderful blog's Birthday party. Oh what fun!
