Ideal home spa ii

Last Friday, I told you about a competition that I have entered with contemporary bathroom designers, C.P Hart. Prize: A day spa package to The Sanctuary.
I have created a Pinterest board with all the things that I would have in my dream home spa. Take a peek at it here.
My ideal home spa would be natural, rustic, and very relaxing. I would have textured slate tiles and oatmeal coloured stoneware. Mink, lilac grey, pale biscuit contrasted with charcoal greys and clean woodwork would be the main colour concept. A beautiful freestanding bath would be the main focus, for pure relaxing baths with lavender bubbles. There would be apothecary style jars on shelves, filled with lavender bath crystals and lavender bath tea and homemade body scrubs. The shelves will have a stack of organic soap slices with rosemary and poppyseed and mint. The window sills would have rows of organic candles that give out scents of relaxation and tranquillity.
The corner of the bathroom would have a luxury shower enclosure which would be tiled with slate top to bottom and have a huge shower head. Fancy hooks will line the back of the door with a selection of waffle robes. There would be a heated rail in which the super soft selection of towels would drape.
And I would most definitely employ a masseuse!
The competition ends Monday (15th October), and I could really do with a lovely relaxing day filled with massages and scrubs.
