Tea and treats

Lately I have been spending my time tucked away in my little craft room. Making plans, tidying, writing letters, reading, creating, pinning, and ofcourse eating. It is a surprise that I am not as big as a house. Every time I pop to the kitchen and make myself a little cup of tea I find a little treat to have with it. Chocolate, a biscuit or five, pic n mix. Oops.
When I was tidying my little craft room, I found lots of old photobooth photos, and these were amongst them. I remember getting those done and being absolutely furious that this happened to them. I think they are pretty amazing now.
I also found lots of old black and white pocket-sized photographs of family portraits that I once found in an antique shop. I love just looking at them and wondering what life must have been like in those days.
I have recently been seriously thinking about my life now and what I want my life to be like. It is so hard to just make changes and leap forward those few risky steps, and without fully knowing what they may bring. I need to go to the shop and buy some 'positivity' and some 'care-free' and just go for it!

  4. Pick and mix is my ultimate weakness! I need a lovely inspiration wall like yours. I always need a dose of positivity, inspiration and 'go get um,' I blame the January blues. But sometimes we do just need to jump, and if you've got people around you that will help, I say go for it!!

I am curious about your favorite tea. Which tea variety goes well with your optimism?

And since I found myself for the first time on your blog, I would like to share my own blog with you. It's http://rivertea.com/blog/. Hope you'll like it!

    1. I agree. January, February... well they just ask for treats to be eaten. It is so gloomy and dull. Sweets are just made for times like these.

  13. I'm glad you are feeling all creative lately! I'm missing this. I have been rubbish at keeping up with jewelry and making. Your little arty space looks very cosy & inspiring though :)

Definitely go for it Charlotta, whatever it is! If you need a chat, you know where to find me. I miss you. I still have your Christmas presents sat in the corner of my room waiting to take to the post office! Ooops. Sorry lovely.
