Tea Review: Dr Stuart's

When I was in Devon I found this little organic/wellbeing shop, filled with delightful things. There was a whole bookshelf full up with different Teas, but these caught my eye immediately. Dr Stuart's packaging is quirky, clean and pretty. The little illustrations are so fun and strange and I completely fell in love.
Skin Purify Red clover, nettle leaves, dandelion leaves, burdock root, chamomile, lemon balm, lemon peel, natural lemon flavour.
Golden yellow in colour.
Lovely Lemony aroma. The clover, lemon and chamomile are the strongest tastes. These especially create the light and refreshing aftertaste. Dr Stuart's teas are "Naturally Caffeine Free" which seem like a good idea to me.
These teas all have 'Active Botanicals' and "Only the best go into Dr Stuart's extraordinarily good teas".
Elderflower & Lemon Elderflower, lemongrass, rosehip, lemon peels, lemon balm, natural lemon flavour.
Pale golden yellow in colour.
A refreshing Lemony aroma. The elderflower, lemongrass and rosehip are wonderfully tasty. The lemon in this tea is somewhat soft and refreshing and leaves a nice little 'Zing' on my tastebuds. I must say this maybe the PERFECT morning tea.
I am so excited to have found these treats in that little health store in that quaint seaside town in Devon. I cannot wait to get some more. I definitely will be trying Peppermint, Blueberry & Acai and some of the other Benefit Teas available. Oh and the packaging! Sigh, they are so delightful.

  3. I've got the dr stuart's sleep tea, I bought it because it said 'one ticket to bedfordshire' on the box. I think I got it in sainsburys.

  4. I love the Dr. Stuart teas! I can't help but sneak one in to my basket every time I visit Wholefoods. The Skin Purify & Echinacea Plus are two of my favourites, the latter is lovely for when you feel a little under the weather :-)
I haven't seen the Elderflower & Lemon one yet but it sounds delicious! I'll have to keep a look out next time. x

  7. I've never seen the Elderflower and Lemon before. It must be a new one. I've always got a box of their Valerian Plus in the house. I sometimes have problems getting off to sleep and this is great for getting you nice and drowsy.
