A bit of Healthy

My name is Charlotte... and I often over indulge.
So I am trying to be good and not do this until it gets to Christmas, or the day or two before!!! So with Weight Watchers offering such a big selection of healthy-yet-yummy biscuits I thought, this 'eating better' thing is going to be easy!
I love the Jaffa cake bars and chocolate chip cookies... but the chocolate digestive biscuits are my ultimate favourite. They are perfectly thin and great dunked in a hot cup of tea!
The biscuits are all individually wrapped or come in packets of two which is a great way to not eat too many in one go. When I have a big bag of crisps I would just happily nibble away until I realised I have munched them all! See if I had a small packet of crisps I would eat that whole bag but wouldn't dare open another! So it is very fatal to buy anything in a 'share' pack. I could never choose a bag of Malteasers, Sebastian wouldn't get a look in! Oops. It is actually surprising I don't weigh a billion stone to be honest.
A nice cup of tea would be perfect to wash these tasty, healthy treats down. Though a wonderfully revitalising sip of ice cold Vivid would do the trick too. These Matcha drinks are perfect for a healthier lifestyle, and once I get my wobbly butt to the gym after Christmas I will most definitely be buying some of these on a frequent basis.
There are three flavours; Grape & Elderflower, Lime, Ginger & Honey, Pear & Rhubarb. They are so delicious, and are the most tastiest fruit juice I have ever sipped. No thick fruit juice, no bits, just a perfect healthy drink. Obviously you don't need to pour it in a glass and add a floral straw, you can drink it straight from the carton. Designed to slip into your gym bag, or fridge door!
Oh and ONE carton of Vivid contains the same number of antioxidants as 10 cups of green tea! That's pretty impressive! I am going to try so hard to be good now up until Christmas... though that is only THIRTEEN days away!
What do you do to keep things healthy and balanced? I just cannot seem to resist a sweet treat with my cup of tea and I almost always need something sweet after my dinner.

  2. Dark chocolate is my way of staying healthy but still indulging. A lot of people think they don't like it, but every brand tastes different! Dark chocolate with almonds is heaven. Nestle is my favourite brand, I don't know how available it is in other countries though. Also, raw/vegan baking is worth looking into, it's a million times better for you and the results are often delicious. Raw chocolate truffles are perfect for the Christmas season as well! I definitely need to get back on track with my eating though, I recently did an 8 week liver cleanse and felt great, but lately I've been eating far too much toblerone & crisps and I feel so sluggish. Plus my skin is breaking out very easily which I don't like at all. Back to healthy eating for me I think!

    1. Firstly I LOVE Toblerone. Alot.
Secondly, you are right I don't think I like dark chocolate all that much, but perhaps I shall give those a try. It seems to taste a little bitter. I shall try!!!
Oh yes Sebastian says we should try the Raw diet!
      Thank you lovely!!!

  3. Having lived away from England for 2 years and with only 2 weeks back here, I'm finding it IMPOSSIBLE not to indulge! I need to go out and get these products before I have to book two seats on the plane!

  4. OOOH those Matcha things sounds right up my street! I'm always nibbling, so when I'm teaching classes, I always have a small lunch box with walnuts, raisins, dried apricots, almonds (and sometimes magic stars!) so I can pick. That and a couple of mandarins, and I'm set. They're all sweet enough to feel naughty, but healthy too :) Maybe you should try Lindt's new 70% Dark Chocolate 'Suave', it tastes a lot less bitter than regular dark chocolate, but is still 70% so you get the antioxidants! xx
