Uncommon Goods

When UNCOMMON GOODS contacted me about their products I was pretty excited, to say the least. There are so many lovely products on their website, so much variety! If you are looking for something a bit different to buy for a gift or for yourself I recommend having a wee browse on their site.
From handmade gifts of jewellery, custom/personalised homeware, wall art, food & drink gift packs to beauty products, there is so much to choose from.
I cannot resist a glass jar or bottle so when I saw this my eyes fell in love! a USB drive in a cork, in a glass jar? Genius! It looks so perfect on my shelf amongst my teeny glass jars filled with sequins and miniature men.
I am constantly saving pretty wedding images and sneakingly printing them at work so this comes in very handy.
I wasn't sure whether to give this beautiful scented candle as a gift for a loved one of mine, but once I carefully took it out of it's box and gave it a little sniff I just could not part with it! It has such a pretty smell. Like a meadow of wild flowers. Like heaven.
So the fact I can actually recreate my own little patch of wild poppies (when I move into somewhere with a patch of grass!) was the deciding factor for me. I should just keep this gift for myself.
It's ok to treat yourself once in a while.
I am a sucker for pretty packaging and this sweet candle was no exception. I just love the simplicity of the box and the delicate writings and words, the illustration too. Oh and the ability to plant it to produce tiny red blooms is pretty darn special I am sure you'll agree.
This really is a special gift to give someone. Especially if they have a green finger or two.
This pretty Agate Nightlight is a dreamy addition to add to my bed time. Or anyone's bedtime for that matter! This lovely light is available in 4 different colour options and are obviously all slightly different due to the nature of the materials. I think I may need every colour and add them to each room or maybe keep them at one side when a favourite little comes into my life.
Look at how pretty it is once switched on! It was shipped from the US so I had to use a converter but the Eggplant Geode looks ridiculously beautiful with a miniature bulb behind it glowing up my night times.
My little relatives would appreciate this too. But I'm not sure I can part with this either. I may just HAVE to put an order in!
GIFT GUIDE
I love buying gifts... especially if they're not obvious or in the high street shops. I like to think about what I am buying, the person I'm buying for and not just purchase any old thing for the sake of it.
It must have thought and meaning and most definitely has to be wrapped up in pretty paper and string.
For Her... because it's Mother's Day soon.

Fancy buying your darling Mother something wonderful and a little bit different? Flavoured Salts in testubes, DIY Lip balm kit, bath salts. SO many ideas. Why don't you have a wee look on their website, they will have just the thing! Check out their Mother's Day collection. Or maybe you agree with my choices above?!
For them... because it's my Nephew's birthday on Mother's Day also (& just because I might be a little bit broody!).

I absolutely adore their Kid's section. Knitted Milk Bottle rattles, Fried Egg bibs, wonderful nightlights. I cannot wait to be a mother and fill my bubba's nursery with sweet treasures and fancy prints.

This website really is a great place to buy all your friends and families a great UNCOMMON gift. Whatever the occasion.
