After a spot of Tea and cake, my friend Emma and I took a trip to the cinema to watch 'What If'. I had wanted to see this film for ages, but Sebastian isn't too keen on Daniel Radcliffe- but I LOVE him.
'What If is the story of medical school dropout Wallace, who's been repeatedly burned by bad relationships. So while everyone around him, including his roommate Allan seems to be finding the perfect partner, Wallace decides to put his love life on hold. It is then that he meets Chantry an animator who lives with her longtime boyfriend Ben. Wallace and Chantry form an instant connection, striking up a close friendship. Still, there is no denying the chemistry between them, leading the pair to wonder, what if the love of your life is actually your best friend?' -IMDB
Without giving too much away! -It really is a must see. Especially if you like 500 days of Summer and Juno. The film has animation running through it which I love so much in a film- I love that creative element.
Daniel Radcliffe was fantastic- typically English with his depressing sarcastic lines. I love that. Zoe Kazan was just perfect. Her character's style was just on cue with Autumn creeping in. I wanted striped tops, skirts and knitted tights, brogues and a trench coat. I also REALLY want a beret! I might make that work for me.
She is pretty inspiring.
After watching this I felt a pang of creativity. It made me realise that you really should do what makes you happy and not think about what's typically 'right'- if you feel the change is right for you, embrace it. Even if it does mean moving to Taiwan for work!
Definitely on my DVD list for Christmas. The soundtrack was pretty darn cool too! Go check it out if you haven't already!
