February Favourites

January was good, but February is better. I had a little shop in Boots the other day and picked up a few pieces, some new and some old favourites.
---
1.  Garnier Micellar cleansing water
My skin loves this stuff. My skin can be sensitive at times and this water is so kind to it. It takes my make up off easily and leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. It lasts for ages which is an added bonus!

2.  Collection Fast Stroke eyeliner- Black
This is an essential in my make up bag, along with the cleansing water, it has been a staple in my life for quite a while. This eyeliner is long lasting and my face just wouldn't be without it. It is such a bargain for the quality too!

3.  Balancing Blooms- Confidence
I have the 'Cheer Up' bottle and just couldn't resist trying the bottle of 'Confidence'. Balancing Blooms is a herbal remedy and a quick pick me up if you need that little boost. I can feel the difference it is making to my life but I'm not sure yet whether it is my subconscious. Which ever it is... it's working so it can't be all bad!

4.  Crabtree & Evelyn ultra-moisturising hand therapy- Rosewater
Well I mentioned the lovely Pomegranate hand therapy in my last Favourites post and this is up there along with it. Another stocking treat from my love and this scent is just pure perfection. It reminds me of Turkish Delight and that is my favourite kind of Rose smell.

5.  Homemade organic lipbalm- Lavender
Sebastian and I made pots of organic Peppermint lipbalm for gifts this Christmas and they went down a treat. But this particular lipbalm was one of our first trials and we put too many drops of Lavender essential oil in the mixture... but I personally LOVE the amount of Lavender in it. It is so soothing and pretty.

6.  Essie nail polish- A Cut Above
Essie polish is my ultimate favourite. This bottle was also a stocking gift from the lovely Sebastian. It was a twin pack and came with 'Fiji', which I also love. This pinky sparkle is so pretty and looks stunning on my ring finger... I think it would make a lovely wedding manicure (Ps. not long now!).

7.  Maybelline Lash Sensational- Lash Multiplying mascara
I thought I'd see what all the hype was about... and I am not disappointed! Wow, my lashes are so much longer and fuller. I had been using my previous brand of mascara for so long, and it has now been long forgotten about! This will most definitely be a new staple in my make up.

  3. Lovely picks :) Essie's polishes are really the best, and I love the glittery ones! I've got Summit of Style, but Cut Above looks perfect for spring and summer. I'm really excited to trying the Lash Sensational mascara - it sounds so good! I bought it recently and am just using up the last dregs of my current mascara.

  5. I do love that mascara as well! It is such good quality for quite the bargain. I love the glitter too, I always think you need a bit of glitter this time of year - a bit of sparkle to bring in Spring! xx
