Happy & Glorious (quite literally!)

A few years back I thought this town had nothing to offer. Then the monthly Farmers Market started along the high street and my heart grew a little for my home town. The market AND the gorgeous fabric shop that I have been secretly in love with for a while changed things for me. Now that the town is currently on a regeneration project (Love Ashford) it has brought us some more lovely little shops. All independent, handmade and friendly.
During my birthday week, my favourite shop hosted the town's very first Bloggers Day.
Let me introduce you to my favourite shop... Happy & Glorious.
Happy & Glorious are a small family-run company. If you happened upon the GLORIOUS shop you will find the lovely Kate who fills it with the most beautiful things all handmade in Britain.
Natural bath products, deliciously scented organic candles in recycled glasses, stunning ceramics, including her own line of botanical painted mugs, sweet succulents in terracotta pots, pretty wash bags, motivational cards and mirrors, foiled greeting cards and MUCH MUCH more. Everything in her shop is basically everything I want in my town house!
Sebastian's father filled a stocking with Kate's treats for me at Christmas and I was in awe with every single product in there! Just what a first-time Mama needed- relaxing bath bubbles, peach lip balm and Christmas scented candles and soaps. Bliss.
I have stocked up on birthday gifts here on a few occasions and every time I have been tempted to treat myself too... Just one succulent and a selection of gorgeous Clovelly soaps will do!
The Clovelly Soap Co range is one of my favourites. Such gorgeous packaging and they smell divine! Seriously, you really do need to go smell them all.
I am also a huge fan of Kate's organic candles. Father Turton bought me Wild Fig & Grape for my birthday and it smells so pretty. I love the simplicity of the whole product too.
My other favourite is the Bramley range- only using 100% natural botanicals. The Lavender & Grapefruit bath bubbles is officially my FAVOURITE type of bath. The smell is so relaxing and bath time feels like Luxury (when I do actually manage to grab one!! The daily shower just is NOT the same). This range has me all heart-eyes over the packaging. The pressed flowers on white is obviously going to catch my eye. Definitely my kind of thing! I also have THAT stunning wash bag on my wishlist (Hear that Sebastian??).
This shop has such a variety of pretty things which makes it THE ideal place to shop for your loved ones. You're not from around these parts I hear you say? Well come visit! Ok you want to stay at home in your comfies? Well they also have a website! www.happyglorious.co.uk Yay!
