A collection of Magical Moments ...

It's July. The month we got married nearly a whole year ago. So be prepared for a whole month of Wedding related posts. Well overdue I have to admit agree. My organisation skills are ridiculously shocking. But hey ... better late than never right? Right?!?!
We are still yet to print our Wedding photos but when the awesome Cheerz team offered me a peek of their new product, 'The Photo Album' I couldn't really say no.
A gorgeous product with so many options. Putting an album together of our big day turned out to be quite difficult. Not only can you choose a colour and a theme for your cover you also have the option to use up to 150 photos. You try and select that many photos from over 750!!! It was so hard. I decided to create more of a look book style album with core details of our day as well as a few poses thrown in for good measure.
Even though it took me forever to choose the images it was so much fun putting them all together over the 40 odd pages.
I chose a few different layouts throughout the book which keeps it interesting (if you've seen the photos a billion times!). I like the mix that I have created, a few special snaps cover a double page and the rest are a variety of 3, 5 and even 7 images on a double page spread. It really was fun to play around with the layouts and making sure each page was different from the previous or the next. Difficult but fun!

I love that the album looks like a book, I can have it sitting on the bookshelf without it being too bulky and obvious. Overall it looks so simple and unfussy which I absolutely love!
You are given the option to give your album a title, I thought it might be a fun idea to use the date of our special day. This way I can create more albums and use the dates to keep in with the theme. A collection of memories.
As well as choice of layouts you have the option to include fonts too. I decided not to use any as I love the look of the photos against the plain white background giving a clean, minimal finish. I like that the images speak for themselves, as well as giving me yet another opportunity to talk for hours about that special day.

I love our look book style album and will definitely be creating some more. I feel there may be a fair few of Olive, as well as perhaps including our Paris trips and future adventures together. With a few colour and theme options available I think it's safe to say there will be quite a few on our shelf.
The book also comes in a gorgeous box so makes a wonderful keepsake or the perfect gift to your loved ones perhaps ... You know because Christmas will be creeping up on us before we know it!
Fancy yourself one of these glorious photo books? Go and have a peek at their lovely website. And if this hasn't tempted you enough, you can get £4 off your order with code CHA7E6 .

Happy memory making!

  2. I will have been married two years this August and other than one lone picture in a frame we were given I am yet to print out any of our wedding photos either!
It's on my to-do-list as soon as the Summer holidays begin. :)

  5. I am in love with how this turned out! My mum recently sent me a photo book that she made herself (which is nice) but I think I might like to design my own how I saw the day myself (and I like the idea of having no writing like you did!) Very cool.

  6. This looks so beautiful Charlotte, the photographs are stunning and I love all the different layouts you've used! I'd definitely get one of these if anyone ever decided to put a ring on my finger (ahem!)
