It's August. The weather however tells us differently. Having said that though I of course am enjoying the cooler temperature. I have been able to throw on a knitted jumper when feeling the chill and this makes me ever so excited.
You all know by now that I am such a Winter soul, or basically any season that is NOT Summer. My favourite time of year is when Summer starts to disappear and Autumn creeps in. The leaves begin to fall, the nights draw in, the marshmallow jar is stocked up for endless hot chocolates. What perfect excuse to snuggle up on the sofa with a cosy blanket and a mountain of cushions.
I spend way too much time on Pinterest but filling up my Automne board has to be favoured when the heat calms down. This then leads to endless window shopping online.
I have always loved H&M for homeware, it is affordable as well as stylish. I already have a few H&M cushions but love to change them up every now and then. The blush pink and grey combination with pops of gold is a favourite of mine and mixed with this gorgeous herringbone Alpaca blanket from Dunedin Cashmere makes the most desirable fall look for me. I love how versatile grey is and how well it goes with a variety of colour combinations. This lovely grey blanket will sit perfectly on my biscuit coloured sofa and plethora of patterned cushions as well as wrapped around me in front of a feel-good film wearing some toasty socks.
I have also been eyeing up a few dusty pink items to add to my colourless/stripey wardrobe. This cashmere jumper, also from Dunedin Cashmere, has me all heart eyed and fuzzy. I love nothing more than being cosy indoors when the weather is grey or dark. The pink jumper in a bigger size to create the oversized comfy look over my stripey pyjamas makes the perfect duvet day or over a loose collared white shirt with black jeans for a coffee date with my little family.
Hot chocolate and a snuggle anyone?
