ABOUT

Hello.

My name is Charlotte, you are most likely to find me drinking a cup of tea with a vintage plate piled up with biscuits, either sitting on the floor playing puzzles with Olive or at my quiet desk illustrating children's stories.

Wife to a brilliant friend from my childhood, Sebastian and Mama to Olive. We live in a rented town house where we scrapbook our dreams, sip tea/coffee/milk and cook up simple pasta dishes together.  We watch a film on Sunday afternoons and have cake on Mondays.

We mostly adventure to the seaside.

I am pretty fond of tea, a paper bag of white mice, Laduree macarons and Parma Violets. Writing, reading and collecting broken vintage china. Flower pressing, sewing and adventuring. Winter, Autumn, and Spring.
I love being cosied up inside with twinkly lights when it's pouring with rain outside, early nights with a good book and a cup of tea, tiny adventures with my tiny famille.

When I get some time I also like to create things, wrap them up in pastel paper bags & twine and sell them online. You can find my little pieces here on the virtual shelves of my Etsy shop.

  2. Hi there!

I just stumbled across this gorgeous blog of yours whilst I was researching tea (it appears a love of tea is something we both have in common!). I just wanted to say "hi!" and say how lovely your blog is, the photography is beautiful. I keep meaning to start a blog, but I never got round to it, but now have just started one for my new business, so please pop by and take a look (not much there yet). I'm at http://theteadropblog.blogspot.co.uk/

Thankies! And it is a pleasure to meet you!

    Kindest Regards,

    Gemma-Rose

  7. HI! Your blog is great. I too am a fellow tea enthusiast. My favorite tea is from Hill Country Tea (hillcountrytea-dot-com) and they have amazing Sri Lankan tea's all from one plantation. Their tea's are unblended so they are fresher and also taste amazing! try it.
